The Beemer story

This has been a very interesting and learning experience for me as a photographer. The idea came from Sushant Koyate's mind, who is a very dear friend of mine. The idea was vague and very spontaneous without much though to it, but it turned out to be extraordinarily brilliant. And the idea was to create an album having portrait his Red colored BMW with Blank and white background.
Idea was great, his expectation were high. Some time they were so high that i had to say "Dude, i am not a professional" but every request he made, i took it as a challenge and at-least tried to give it a shot. Being novice to photography, i struggled a bit to get my first shot, Even though expectation from my first shot was to just have a stable non blurry picture. But as days passed i found myself getting better at it.
I would say real journey to my photography started with this little though from my friend. Every weekend we would hunt for new places and try out every angle that we had though of during our working hours in weekdays. In this process, i got to explorer many new techniques and compositions of photography, we invented many places in the neighborhood which we didn't even knew existed. We roamed late night on the streets of San Mateo, Trespassed places to get the perfect shot especially with railway and factory shot, Blocked the traffic on busy Lombard street and laid on jungle road of Huddart Park with security guard breathing on our neck and did many more crazy stuff.
Koyate as i say him, has been very challenging, demanding, fussy and elegant in his choice. That made me think twice before i clicked with chosen composition and I will have to agree that some of the classic shots were very difficult without his persistent nature. With 100s of clicked shots, we had to pick one which was a challenge in itself, I left that to Koyate to finalize the best one. After finalizing, he spend hours on Photoshop to get the background turned B&W. Which gave an extraordinary elegant touch to the photograph.
All well that ends well, Similarly, we had a perfect Beemer album ready, which he today posted on Facebook, not to my surprise he got 10 likes within first 10 mins of his post. I am glad that we were able to successfully complete this project. Now looking forward to new ideas and more challenging work...
